ABBA & Queen: A String Quartet Tribute

This concert brings together two of the most recognisable catalogues in music, arranged for string quartet and performed by Egerton Strings in the candlelit setting of St Mary’s. It’s a chance to hear ABBA and Queen in a way that feels fresh, direct, and surprisingly effective in this space.

You’ll get the big favourites from both bands, arranged to suit the quartet and the church’s acoustics. The focus is on the songs themselves — strong melodies, tight writing, and arrangements that let everything land clearly without trying to imitate the originals.

St Mary’s adds a lot to the experience: warm lighting, great sound, and a close connection between performers and audience. It’s an easy, enjoyable evening built around music people genuinely love.

Suitable for ages 8 and up, with full wheelchair access. Seating is first‑come, first‑served, and doors open 45 minutes before the start. The concert runs 7.30pm–9.30pm with an interval.
